1. About these terms
These terms and conditions govern your use of the Lokenath Infotech website and any product sale, installation or service work we carry out for you. By using the site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Products and pricing
All product listings, images and descriptions are shared for information. Availability and prices can change without notice depending on brand supply, taxes and market rates. A final quotation shared over call, WhatsApp, email or in the shop is the authoritative price for that transaction.
3. Warranties
- Branded products carry the manufacturer's warranty as printed on the invoice. Warranty claims are handled directly by the brand's service centre; we assist wherever we can.
- Our own installation and service work is covered by a service warranty communicated at the time of booking.
- Physical damage, water damage, tampering, unauthorised repair and use outside the intended purpose void warranty coverage.
4. Payments
We accept cash, UPI, cards and standard bank transfer. Advance payment may be requested for special orders and larger installation jobs. Full payment is due before goods leave the shop or upon completion of an installation, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
5. Returns and refunds
Sealed retail products may be exchanged within a reasonable period as per the brand's return policy, provided the packaging and accessories are intact. Custom-built desktops, opened consumables (like ink and cartridges) and installation service charges are non-refundable once work has started.
6. Doorstep service visits
A visit charge may apply and is communicated before booking. If you cancel after the technician has left our shop, the visit charge is still payable. We may reschedule visits due to weather, traffic or safety concerns and will always inform you in advance.
7. Customer data on serviced devices
You are responsible for backing up your own data before handing over any device for service. While we take reasonable care, we do not accept liability for data loss that occurs during repair, reinstall or upgrade work.
8. Website use
You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, upload harmful code, or use the site's content for commercial republication without our written permission.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, images, logos and layout — belongs to Lokenath Infotech or is used with permission. You may share links to our pages freely; you may not copy substantial content for another website without credit and consent.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability under any transaction is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
